After painting the animal sculptures the children added
detail by collaging squares of fabric on to them. They chose realistic colours but added a
twist by introducing a colour of their own choice. Textures were considered –
the oran-gu-tan’s were furry, the elephants had some velvet and the dodo,
tissue paper. These sculptures are on display in the school office reception
area at the moment.
