Printmaking in Foundation Stage

As part of our Jungle topic we used animal prints to inspire our printmaking. 

Using paper stencils we blocked out areas to make the different coloured shapes.

Here are some of the finished prints from our Reception class.  See if you can identify which jungle animal inspired each print.

Our Nursery class were busy too.  They absolutely loved the rolling – really getting stuck into it and were keen to come back the next day and put their second colour on.

Each print was laid on to paper and then repeated on to fabric.  Watch this space to see the finished banners that will hang in the mall.
